When I pointed this out, they added white gold in the inlay to make my stones shine brighter, and talked me through the process of how and why they did it. There is something magical about untying the little ribbon, reading through the cards first and then opening the little black box to find a small wooden ring case inside. I don’t know who came up with this great idea, but I’ve always found traditional ring boxes so tacky... When I opened the ring case, I was expecting any reaction from jumping,to grinning from ear to ear. Usually, I would be over the top happy. This time, I was actually at a loss for words. I looked at the ring and just marveled at its beauty, and then carefully put it back, resealing the whole box just to make sure it stayed as warm and safe as when it arrived. The whole process from start to finish was a joy, thank you for everything!
