But the ring itself surpasses the already very positive communication in advance. I can’t say enough good things about this ring and the Emeraki team! We ordered an engagement ring at their busiest time of year with no expectation of it arriving before the holidays. They not only got it to us by Christmas, they also held my hand through my many questions. I was unsure about the colors since opals look very different in different lighting. When I pointed this out, they added white gold in the inlay to make my stones shine brighter, and talked me through the process of how and why they did it. Communication was so smooth and supportive, even with a 10 hour time difference. I’m beyond thrilled with my ring—it’s the perfect amount of sparkle for a subtle band and the box it comes in is delightful.

There is something magical about untying the little ribbon, reading through the cards first and then opening the little black box to find a small wooden ring case inside. I don’t know who came up with this great idea, but I’ve always found traditional ring boxes so tacky... When I opened the ring case, I was expecting any reaction from jumping,to grinning from ear to ear. Usually, I would be over the top happy. This time, I was actually at a loss for words. I looked at the ring and just marveled at its beauty, and then carefully put it back, resealing the whole box just to make sure it stayed as warm and safe as when it arrived. The whole process from start to finish was a joy, thank you for everything!
