2-Year Extended Warranty Policy

At eMeraki Studio, every piece of jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail. We stand behind the quality of our work and offer an optional 2-year extended warranty for additional peace of mind and support in caring for your handmade jewellery.

The extended warranty covers genuine manufacturing and material defects under the terms outlined below.

What Does the Extended Warranty Cover?

The extended warranty covers genuine manufacturing and material defects that occur during normal use during the applicable warranty period.

This may include:

• Manufacturing defects

• Material defects

• A component becoming loose due to a manufacturing or setting defect

• Breakage caused by a proven manufacturing defect

• Other issues determined by eMeraki Studio to be the result of a manufacturing or material defect

Each claim is assessed individually. If a claim is approved under the extended warranty, eMeraki Studio will determine the most appropriate solution. Depending on the issue, this may include repairing the item, replacing a component, remaking the item, or providing another appropriate solution.

The extended warranty does not guarantee unlimited repairs or replacements. A claim must be determined to result from a genuine manufacturing or material defect in order to qualify for coverage.

The Extended Warranty Applies to One Specific Item

Each 2-year extended warranty applies to one specific jewellery item only - the item purchased together with the extended warranty.

The extended warranty does not cover:

• Other items from the same order

• Other jewellery owned by the customer

• Future purchases

If you wish to have multiple items covered, a separate extended warranty must be purchased for each item.

Ring Size Adjustments

The extended warranty includes one complimentary ring size adjustment per ring covered by the extended warranty.

If a ring was made in a different size from the size ordered, this is considered a manufacturing error. In this case, eMeraki Studio will cover the resizing or remake costs, including shipping costs to and from our studio.

If the ring was made in the correct size according to the customer's order, but a different size is needed due to incorrect size selection or a change in finger size, the first size adjustment is complimentary. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the size adjustment.

A ring size adjustment due to incorrect size selection or a change in finger size is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Additional resizing or modifications beyond the one complimentary size adjustment are not included in the extended warranty and may incur additional costs.

What Is Not Covered?

The extended warranty does not cover:

• Incorrect ring size selection

• Changes in finger size over time

• Loss or theft of the item

• Accidental damage

• Damage caused by improper, careless, unusual, or unsuitable use

• Damage caused by impact, crushing, bending, or other external force

• Normal wear and tear

• Scratches, dents, tarnishing, or other cosmetic changes resulting from normal use

• Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, harsh cleaning products, chlorine, salt water, or other unsuitable substances

• Modifications, repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by another jeweller or third party

• Changes to the design, materials, stones, finish, or other personal preferences

• Repeated resizing or modifications beyond the complimentary size adjustment included with the extended warranty

How to Make an Extended Warranty Claim

If you believe your item has a manufacturing or material defect, please contact us before sending the item back.

Please provide:

• A description of the issue

• Clear photos showing the item and the issue

We will review the information and determine whether the issue qualifies for coverage under the extended warranty. Please do not send an item back before contacting us and receiving instructions from eMeraki Studio.

If the item needs to be returned for inspection or service, we will provide further instructions regarding the shipping process.

Extended Warranty Validity

The 2-year extended warranty begins after the applicable statutory consumer rights period has ended and provides an additional two years of coverage.

The extended warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

This extended warranty is additional to, and does not replace or limit, any statutory consumer rights that may apply to your purchase.

The extended warranty is intended to cover genuine manufacturing and material defects and does not replace the need for proper care and handling of your jewellery. Please follow our jewellery care instructions to help keep your handmade piece beautiful for years to come.
